Having read the book several times I was only too eager to watch this movie.
The acting in this movie was first class and it needed to be because it really is the best thing about this film.
This movie could have been a classic but sadly its a huge opportunity lost.
At least 100 murders maybe 250 but how many do we see? not many. He used many different methods to do his killings - again we don't see many. No real background on his nurture either which would have been nice to see maybe what made him who he became.
The story was supposed to be about Richard Kuklinsky but we get too quickly whisked through the generations without actually getting to know him.
There were many highlights in the book which are not even mentioned. For being known as the Iceman its a shame that there was no real devotion to seeing any frozen bodies.
And finally the police were never mentioned in the film until the last minute. Would have been good to see the other side coming together.
