Jambareeqi Reviews (2012– )
9/10
The best Internet film review series since the Nostalgia Critic and the Nostalgia Chick

I first heard of 'Jambareeqi Reviews' on the IMDb message boards and when I read about them, I was intrigued since I love animation and was really interested in watching an Internet review series based solely on animated films. After having watched quite a few of Jambareeqi's reviews (which I'll come to in the next section), I found him a tad better than Doug Walker and Lindsay Ellis (AKA the Nostalgia Critic and the Nostalgia Chick respectively) although both are also very good reviewers.

The first review of Jambareeqi's I watched was for 'Mary and Max.' I found it hugely fascinating because Jambareeqi mentions he has Asperger syndrome like Max in the film and as I mentioned in some of my other reviews on IMDb I have it too. I like the format of the reviews as well, especially the jam jar links that have labels for categories such as content, characters, animation style and music, his trademarks of his distinctive red hat and black T-shirt with strawberries on it (makes me think of strawberry jam) and also how he gives his star ratings (e.g. 5/5 chocolate stars for 'Mary and Max,' 4/5 sponge stars for 'The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie'). Jambereeqi uses a diverse vocabulary to deliver his reviews. Other reviews of his I've seen were for 'The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie,' 'Help! I'm a Fish,' 'Igor,' 'The Plague Dogs' and 'Beavis and Butt-Head Do America,' all of which I've seen before. I've also seen his mini-review for the television series 'Arthur,' which I watched when I was younger. Whilst watching the 'Arthur' review, I was surprised when Jambareeqi didn't mention the episode where George the moose meets Carl, a one-off rabbit character with Asperger syndrome but at least he mentioned it in his recent Q & A video while he was answering my question.

Overall, 'Jambareeqi Reviews' is probably the most unique Internet video review series I've seen so far and it is well recommended for film and animation buffs alike. I'm also happy to have Jambareeqi as a friend right here on IMDb, I subscribe to him on YouTube and I follow him on Facebook as well. 9/10 so far - I look forward to watching more of his reviews in the future, especially for other films I've seen before.
