I Can't Unwatch This
14 July 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I only bought this movie because the late, great Ed Wood appears in it. There's lots of nudity and simulated sex in this softcore movie. George Stone (Victor Rich) is a middle-aged business executive who goes to swinging parties. His wife Martha (Karen Johnson) wants George to take her to one of those orgies/parties. To give you an idea of how good their acting is, this is the only movie that Victor Rich and Karen Johnson ever appeared in. About half an hour into the film, at the party, an obviously drunk Ed Wood is in a bedroom with a parrot. Ed starts taking off his clothes, and starts putting on pantyhose, then a bra. The movie keeps cutting back and forth between Ed and the party, so the viewer won't have to take in that sight all at once. At one point, a woman walks in, looks astonished, then walks out. Later, a man walks in, and Ed looks ashamed to be wearing a bra and pantyhose. The man tells him that it's all right, he looks nice, and to keep putting on women's clothing. "I'm game for anything, after all that booze," Ed blurts out. Whatever they paid Ed to appear in this movie wasn't enough. Looking drunk, disoriented, disheveled, pale and bloated, Ed the transvestite was a very sorry sight to see. As for Mr. and Mrs. Stone, they learned the error of their ways. At the end of the movie, they decide to stop going to swinging parties, and start a family. Thankfully, there was no sequel to "The Sensuous Wife" called "The Sensuous Mother."
