Not much more than music and pictures.

I saw this film on a smaller screen than an IMAX one, yet that should not have mattered. I saw this film with a computer file instead of the IMAX film, yet that should not have mattered. I saw this film out of two speakers instead of a dozen, yet that should not have mattered. The Earth Wins is a pro-environment film which tries to bring a strong message to its audience: whatever we do to the Earth, it will fight back, and it will always win. With numerous genres and eras of music, the film explores "the delicate balance between man and Mother Earth." With on screen text to guide the viewer on his/her journey, The Earth Wins features aerial shots of wildlife, the wilderness, and human structures. While aiming to achieve a unique perspective on the issue of human impact on the environment, all The Earth Wins accomplishes is pretty pictures and nice music. It is as if a film student was tasked with making their first film in an Adobe Suite. Stock footage, generic music, and some simple text overlay are the tools at their disposal, and this film felt exactly like that.
