It's not bad at all. In fact there are moments when you are hooked, but those moments don't last very long.
Every year late summer time, I read all about the new shows, and this was the one that striked me as "must must must watch!". The premise is good, and it has/had a lot of potential but just get the feeling that the show has underachieved.
There are no characters that are likable, to be honest. If any of them got killed off in the next episode, I wouldn't give two hoots. That is one area where it falls apart.
It also feels a bit too much like a Criminal Minds spin-off, and not really any better than the spin-off that got cancelled after a dozen episodes or so. I half expect Spencer to come strolling into the office at some point, but not been that lucky, as of yet.
I'll keep watching for a little while to see what the secret is all about, but truth be told, I wouldn't be surprised to see this cancelled before the season is out.
