It us Christmas time. And while the Emergency room is still all full of patients and some sad outcomes there are also a few miracles. There is a woman who ends up being pregnant after trying a lot, unfortunately in a negative side to it so is Dr. Lewis's sister.
The biggest story is a man who tragically dies but whose organs can save some lives. Only his wife doesn't want to sign the content. They were separated and she has regrets about not accepting him back. At the end though she does it, and his heart and kidneys will be the biggest gift out of all that were mentioned in this episode.
And they also touch the thought that we may regret letting our love go away later in life. Dr. Ross learns it from an older patient and wants to get Carol back, but it doesn't work out.
