Warning: Spoilers
I'm closing in on the end of Daredevil's first season and the pace is picking up just a tad. I like that unlike other superhero shows, Daredevil is able to take its time on one specific storyline rather than jumping around with filler episodes. With that said, we got a bunch of first meetings between characters this week. And I do love the supporting group he's surrounding himself with, including a thought provoking priest who consistently has the best scenes with Matt. I'm just not sure that his team is going to a enough against Fisk's well rounded brutal bunch.

In Daredevil fashion, the villain was introduced within the first scene and we didn't see him until later on when they would flash forward yet again. It's a tactic that Breaking Bad used particularly well and I think Daredevil is following suit. I haven't found the law and investigation side as interesting as I had hoped for this show, but adding Urich into the mix is a welcomed change. Hopefully one that will stick around. Matt decided to take on a role of his own this week by going out as Matt to the art gallery to meet Vanessa. I really didn't see this scene ending well at all and I instantly got excited when I saw Fisk walk in. It's the first time Matt and Wilson have met and it's all the way in episode 9. That would likely not work on network television. But Daredevil also met Fisk this week as it was revealed, as expected, that Fisk was indeed behind the murder of Elena.

The game of cat and mouse that Fisk and DD are playing is very intriguing. And as the priest said, men have used other men's atrocities to justify their own for centuries, so I expect Matt to take that and see that murdering Fisk wont really change anything. He needs justice, or else just another wealthy businessman is going to come in and do the same thing. Even though the Ninja guy wasn't really needed in the story this episode, it was an interesting fight that seemed to come right out of Kill Bill. It was a fun episode and hopefully the last 4 episodes pick up the pace a bit more. I guess it's worth mentioning that Foggy found out about Matt's identity. It was only a matter of time before someone else did, I just hope he doesn't play the typical ticked off best friend that superhero stories too often do.
