Making the "Lost World" (1997)

Very good 53-minute documentary about the making of Steven Spielberg's THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK. This documentary covers every aspect of the production and features interviews with all of the key members including Spielberg, Jeff Goldblum, Julianne Moore, David Koepp and various other cast and crew members. If you're a fan of the film then you're going to be really happy with this documentary because it really does tell you just about everything you need to know. We get a good covering of the pre-production as well as everything that happened after the cameras stopped rolling. In fact, the best thing about this is seeing how the scenes were shot without the dinosaurs and then see how they were added in with the CGI. Seeing how exact all the frames had to be was quite interesting to see. It was also nice getting to hear from Spielberg on why he wanted to make a sequel as well as the thoughts in bringing the dinosaurs onto American land.
