A cheap knock-off, it's just as bad as the last seasons of Heroes, with worse special effects and worse actors... Dunno how they did it, but they did... Between Levi totally horrible as the "villain", the kid bullied in school again and who likes the cute girl, the X-Men plot where the guys with powers have to hide from the government, it's nothing new and begs the question "what's the point of all this ?".
The directing and writing are terrible too : the paper falling from the book with the crucial info on it, the agent who needs a freaking paper to remember the password "cockroach", the "I'll wait until my friend enters before dying right at that moment so it adds drama"... It's mistake after mistake, and it's still awfully slow, like the original series.
