This film is very popular in Russia and in the world. For example, "Hedgehog in the Fog" is also used at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Winter Olympics as a masterpiece of Russia. This film is animation; however, this film is not used only painting. This film's characters of the hedgehog, owl, and bear and so on are drawn by paper cutout picture, and background is made by the picture which the actual landscape photos are processed like drawing.
