A very boring show again proving how wrong the predictions were in determining who had won the awards.
It was nice seeing Leonardo DiCaprio and Sylvester Stallone finally winning something.
I really can't stand Ricky Gervais and wish that he would be dropped from the show. He is not funny and besides, he did make anti-Israel statements some years back. He thinks he is funny when it comes to Mel Gibson, but is instead annoying and insensitive to many who watch the program. His reminder of who doesn't like you Mel shall only stir up bitter feelings. His attempt at saying that Mel and I (Gervais) wish you shalom at the end of the evening was ridiculous.
Why aren't any of the nominated songs sung? Taranji P. Henson spoke as if she just came out of the ghetto. Who does she think she is to say that she waited for this for 20 years and therefore she can speak as long as she wants?
Lady Gaga was genuine in her acceptance speech. Sylvester Stallone showed humility as well.
