Lucas on Germany

Warning: Spoilers
"Freiheit" or "Freedom" is a very early work by famous filmmaker George Lucas ("Star Wars"). It only runs for under 3 minutes, but is still nowhere near his shortest works from back in the day. It has its 50th anniversary this year and is, in my opinion, only really interesting to German audiences probably as it is the story of a man who tries to flee from the East inside the West. Will he be successful? Watch for yourself. Or don't, as you are not missing too much to be honest. Still Lucas has done worse back then, but taking his age into account (21), I will go easy on him. It's not a failure, but not good enough to let me recommend it either. Thumbs down.
