Helpmates was relese in 1932 and it holds up well like vintage wine the older the better.This is one of laurel and hardys best and funniest short films it only goes on for 20 minutes and every second is timeless comedy. It starts of with ollie hungover and desperate to clean his house after a wild party so as usual he rings is pal stanley to help clean his house before his stern wife arrives home ,as soon as stans presence comes on screen ya know it's gonna be a classic .The stunts and falls by ollie is amazing and classic stuff and stans wrecking of everything is funny as usual I think what makes helpmates a iconic favourite is its a 2 man show it's harmless comedy that's just golden and it ends in a hilarious scene of stan stood in ollies now burnt down house to ollies shock then does his fake cry , to stan saying well there's nothing more I can do lol .
