I stuck with this to the bitter end. Very mixed feelings on this series. I think it started out promising and drew to a bit of a limp and soggy conclusion. *spoiler alert kind of* All ends tied up of course, but I just felt a bit disappointed with how the plot unfolded; the excitement seemed to seep out of it a little more each episode for me. Perhaps that was just based on my own expectations and the need for a real solid head scratching type of detective thriller. Perhaps the characters just could not be portrayed deeply enough in the time scale to provide anything more than a few quirks mixed in with cliché. Interesting subject matter though.
I actually just wanted to post to let a previous reviewer; Mark, know that...this was actually an ITV production, not BBC. Also I would highly recommend The Missing- series 2 on BBC.
