Since I was about 3 years old, I've had natural vivid and lucid dreams. Without making this review extremely long and about me, I'll just say that the world inside my head absorbs almost every aspect of my life, right down to my career choice. I've seen many shows in this supernatural-dream sub-genre, since I'm drawn to them, and I've never seen anything more accurate to my experience as a lucid dreamer. The world in the show feels so much like my personal wonderland that it left me awestruck; right down to the flashes of the strange man while he's awake. This isn't getting a perfect rating, though, because of the superpowers. It's episode three and the powers still don't feel necessary aside from manifesting an otherwise mental journey. To me, they're just distracting from what is the more interesting and entertaining story-line. He could have them in the 'other world', but in his real life, where we've spent most of our time, I find myself not caring.
