Warning: Spoilers
"Him Indoors" is an 11-minute short film from 2012, so this one has its 5th anniversary now. The writer and director is Paul Davis and none of the people who worked on this one (in front of the camera and behind it) are really that well-known, even if you may have seen one or the other on other projects already. Anyway, this little live action horror comedy is about an agoraphobic psychopath and how he attempts to reach his very own happiness. The film is probably at its most entertaining in the middle part as those parts with the first victim and also the solution at the end (even if it makes very much sense) aren't the most captivating to watch and the graphic violence may have been overdone a bit at the end. Still, there are some funny moments in the conversation between the two protagonists and the lead actor is also quite good. All in all, I recommend this little British film, even if I believe it is slightly overrated here on IMDb. For a better rating, it just lacks in terms of the thriller aspect and also the atmosphere, which is never something too captivating. It's really only about the comedy here.
