C.A.T. Squad (1986 TV Movie)
Not the best from Bill Friedkin, for sure...
6 April 2017
Of course I expected far better from another collaboration between Gerald Petievitch and Friedkin, after LIVE AND DIE IN L.A. This TV feature is not a crap although, but from such a great director, anyone can be disappointed. And this Ennio Morricone score which has nothing to do here. Why not classical music? And those Morricone music are oldies, for instance if you are careful, it is the music from Philippe Labro's SANS MOBILE APPARENT that we hear the most; but not only. Many other tracks are here. But if you consider it as a common TV film, it is OK. You can live without it. I repeat, the mix up of all those Morricone musics are very strange, weird and sometimes not voluntary funny.
