Gene Roddenberry must be rolling in his grave!!!

Warning: Spoilers
I have been a long time Star Trek fan, not long enough to have seen the original series in Prime Time, but I started watching the Original Series when they first starting airing in syndication. I have seen or own The Animated Series, the original cast movies, series spin offs and even the reboot movies. When I first heard about this I was kind of excited, Star Trek was coming back to television!!! I am still waiting for Star Trek. This piece of crap looks like Star Trek, sounds like Star Trek but there is no way in hell that this is Star Trek!!!!! I can't believe that I waited 2 years for this and now CBS has the temerity to charge the audience to watch this show! They should pay us to watch it. It is a dark, foreboding ship. The sets have absolutely nothing going for them. The crew seems to be just going through the motions, knowing that the show will be watched regardless of how bad it actually is. The show is supposed to take place about 10 years before the Original Series yet we are show technology that does not even exist in the Next Generation, which is 70+ years after the Original Series. And please, don't try to throw that Kelvin Timeline at me. This show is awful in any time line. Take this show, rename it Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica or just about any other science fiction series in the last 15 - 20 years and it might be taken at face value. Consider this Star Trek and you insult all that Trek is, was and forever will be.
