So, this was a made from fans for fans, and funded entirely by the fans... That means it was small budget compared to DBZ Evolution (2009). While DBE was absolutely nothing like the animé series or even remotely close to the characters fans love, DBZLOH give exactly what a big Hollywood budget film couldn0t do with a very small cost (except the long waiting since the pilot).
Acting was good, at least more believable for Kenny Leu (Gohan) than his predecessor (who actually also did a good job). and a correct future Bulma from RuthAnne Thompson, and a nice effort for Jack Wald (young Trunks).
But the stars here are Tyler Tackett and Amy Johnston as the villainous androids.
The Bad: well, few details that I can forget since I am thrilled with this fan film.
The good: faithful to the source material, good story in DBZ universe, great FX (since is a fan film, a recall for that again). And the final fight was EPIC... seriously.
