Swamp Country (1966)

Musical hicksploitation

Warning: Spoilers
SWAMP COUNTRY is one of those 'hicksploitation' movies popular in America since the 1960s. It's set in and filmed in the swamp lands of Georgia, where a murder takes place and a passing traveller finds himself wrongfully accused of the crime. He subsequently finds himself the subject of manhunt and hides out in the swamps to escape. For an indie production, this is colourfully shot, but the main emphasis seems to be on cheesy guitar scenes which pop up every five minutes or so.
