Big budget, big A-list stars and some fantastic special effects, especially the many creatures that inhabit this fairy tale world, but, after a promising start, I found this film to flatten out somewhat midway through. Then it builds to a predictable but satisfying end.
Too scary for young kids but not scary enough for big kids.
