Don't misunderstand me, I love series of superhumans (be it mental or physical), I just love Sherlock Holmes, and sci-fi series, too. It's just after a while I fed up with the perfection, the all perfect lines and acts of the characters. The Terror is different in that the protagonists are everyday human beings. People with vice, mistakes, envy, anger and also honor, loyalty. The setting is great, the actors are superb, the dialogs (mostly) believable, no-nonsence. Not like many other movies/series where everyone, always speaks the perfect lines and you feel like they reading a book (ok, yes they acually do, but I shouldn't be aware of that). I felt the interactions between the character realistic, almost all of the time.
I couldn't stop watching it. The only thing where I had problems was the monster. It wasn't living up to everything else. It looked stupid, moved clunky and unrealistic, and wasn't in any way terrifying (reminded of Falkor from the Neverending Story - how can you take it seriously?)... They should have avoid showing it - just the attacks and their result.
The show is with me after watching for days now, it is a definite 10.
