Really enjoyed this show last year.
Set and dance choices remind me of Lady Gaga's Super Bowl performance....so the set mostly lends itself to "loud and showy."
Soft routines barely have a chance. Last year Eva's performance with the construction set was pure genius. She could carry off a soft performance in a large venue. This would be a rare occurrence.
So far this season we have watched two episodes.
An observation I'd like to make is that the lighting or camera "tricks" are simply unnerving to me. The movements now look "sped up" and jerky. I feel like I'm watching a strobe effect. So the performances now look animated and I do not care for this at all.
The judges are delightful. J-Lo is so stylish...love her outfits! The guys judging are highly qualified...I enjoy their input.
