I was interested in watching this film because it's a part of the most entries in any film series ever. According to Guinness World Records and Wikipedia, Wong Fei Hung has had more films than any other series in history. It's weird, because Wong Fei Hung was in fact a real person and not a fictional character. It's kind of hard to make a film series about a real person. Anyway, this movie was quite fun. You have to remember that it's part comedy.
A lot of the action is so goofy and over the top you know it's not meant to be taken seriously. Why was Jackie Chan's name spelled "Jackey"? Whatever, he's a very talented and charismatic actor. I can always appreciate someone who is bilingual. They don't really get that much into the drunken stuff until the last third of the movie or so. I'm glad they focus on it so much. ***
