Pretty good and worth it for the great music.

Larenz Tate does a reasonable job as the lead character Frankie Lymon, although he looks nothing like him. Halle Berry was brilliant as Zola Taylor of 'The Platters' Vivica A. Fox and Lela Rochon as the other wives were also very good. Probably not 100% accurate but there is some great music and a surprise appearance as himself. The movie is worth watching just for the music and the actors playing 'The Platters' looked really good, Those playing 'The Kinks' not so good. There was a good mixture of drama and humor, but this is a sad story that shows how corrupt the music industry is and how talented musicians and singers were ripped off by the companies they signed with. Sadly not much has changed today. Although the film ends with a settlement, history shows the judgement was later overturned and Morris Levy kept the royalties for Frankie's most successful song from whcih the title of this movie comes.
