I love the premise of this show, the quirkiness, the narrative and the characters (almost as I like the idea of the aunts more than the characters themselves).
The show has great potential as long as the writers don't rewrite what has already been written, produced and aired - yes to horrifying repetitiveness as Death by Vinyl is, the series should blossom.
Death by Vinyl - was was a horrible overdone premise - famous girl 80's band reunite.....ugh and the singer was horrible....I felt like I was watching a fantasy version of the bands fame told by the bands producer, manager and each band member's recollection of their past and present glories. It was the worst of the worst. I almost fell off my chair when the manager says 'We have to tell the public the truth about the lead singers death. The public have a right to know'.
Seriously - this is got to be in your head only.
What kept me going to finish the rubbish episode (yes I hated it) was the main character Mattie - her character is so lovely....I want her car! And she dresses impeccably.
The three sisters / aunt characters are not love worthy but not dislikeable either. Their isn't anything to draw their character into endearment...this should be worked on in following episodes.
