Dr. Hfuhruhurr (no, that isn't a typo) is the most preeminent brain surgeon in the world. Dolores Benedict (Kathleen Turner) is a wicked, evil, gold digger. The two run into each other... um, I mean Dr. H runs into her with his car. This fortuitous encounter (or unfortunate encounter) sets the stage for them to be married. It's not long before Dr. H finds out that his wife is not wife material.
This movie is mildly funny but has a nice story. Dr. H always fell for beautiful women. After he had a psychic connection with a disembodied brain he realized that beauty went deeper than looks. It's a real cool and romantic story (in a strange way).
