SAVAGE STREETS stars Linda Blair as Brenda, who, along with her impossibly innocent sister, Heather (Linnea Quigley), and their friends -sort of a 1980's version of the Pink Ladies, with Brenda as Rizzo- set out for a nice evening.
Simultaneously, a group of four thuggish goons are terrorizing the populace. After a run-in with said miscreants, Brenda and company take it upon themselves to teach them a lesson in civility. Bad idea, as poor Heather is easy pickings for these leather-encased hooligans! Unfortunately, Brenda's too busy fighting in the shower to come to her sister's aid.
With Heather hospitalized, and clinging to life, Brenda and her friends hang out at what could only be described as the twin of the wonderful Club Scum from HOBGOBLINS! By some miraculous turn of the karmic wheel, the four Neanderthals arrive there as well! Even so, no one figures these mugs as the perpetrators of Heather's attack.
Then, one of Brenda's cohorts encounters these jerks in their jerk-mobile, and meets a grisly end. At last, Brenda has the evidence she requires, and quickly transforms into a wild-eyed, big-haired angel of death, complete with implements of sweet revenge!
Now, the tables of fate have turned, and Brenda unleashes her arsenal on these lecherous losers! Oh yes, their deaths are glorious! The finale in the paint store gives a whole new meaning to "redecorating"!
A wonderful vehicle for Linda Blair, she plays her character to the hilt!
Shower scene fans rejoice! Annnnd, Ms. Blair takes a relaxing bath!
