OMG! All through this season, I kept thinking we were having a mostly-unrelated-to-season-one story in the saga of Castle Rock. I had no idea of how wrong I was!
I had become immersed in the story of Annie and Joy and thought it was all about them, which was a good enough tale. Even when we saw that the resurrected dead guys were targeting Annie as the vessel for the last one to be raised, I still thought it was about her.
But when the 1619 story introduced the Angel and I saw the hooded figure, I started to have my suspicions. And when we learned that Ace had gone to Shawshank and gone down to the cell on the lowest level where The Kid had been kept, I was so excited. I loved the backstory of the creepy suicide cult and I loved that we've got Bill Skarsgaard back!
