After a second look-It's not that bad but not great.

Warning: Spoilers
My first impression was a slow boring predictable movie. After second viewing a few years later, I realized it is not that bad but not great

The Good:

Rumer Willis and Emma Dumont's acting. They seemed to be having a good old time (especially Rumer)

The plot was interesting however....(see the bad)

The last fifteen minutes of the movie picked up and moved forward at a slightly suspenseful pace.

I loved the camera work during the scene Jessica (Emma Dumont) is crawling away and Raven (Willis) is looming in the background.

The dialogue moved smoothly between the two main characters.

The storyline itself was clean and simple (i.e no plot holes and no subplots)

The Bad:

The acting. The minor actors were either wooden or played it like it was a joke (I'm looking at you, Best Man). I still like to know where in the world did they find the cast.

Yes, the plot was interesting but the whole premise was a little silly....who would send their partner to drive up with a sibling without showing him or her a picture of said sibling.

I figured out Raven was the psycho ex girlfriend not the dudes sister, the moment Jessica arrived to drive with Raven. I was amazed it took finding the real Raven's ID to make the alarm bells go off in Jessica's head.

Rumer staring at the camera while speaking on the phone to the ex boyfriend made it appear she was reading off a cue card. (or was she really reading off a cue card?)

The editing was a little choppy.

The Ugly:

The psycho ex-girlfriend trope.
