Ok firstly this movie is good for some kids. If your kids NEVER seen Big Bad Beetleborgs that is. Kids might enjoy some of the kid slapstick it has, though they won't get the adults in the movie.
The acting isn't bad, some hate the main hero kid, but I think he's a decent actor, the others are more famous so they're good, the story is ok at best. It's basically dad ignores geeky son thing. It's just ok.
My biggest issue with the movie is it's CLEAR as day this was written by someone with experience on Big Bad Beetleborgs! Firstly, the girl (who later turns good) is played by the girl who played Jo and secondly the house is CLEARLY from Beetleborgs. When I first saw this, I was wondering if Flabber would come out somewhere...and I was about 10 when I seen this!!
I give it 3/10...good for some kids, not good for some. Really the best parts are the ghosts, the acting wasn't bad, just don't like seeing the set of Big Bad Beetleborgs used.
