The title is apparently short for Lincoln Crown Victoria, a common police squad car. Much of the film is conversations that take place inside vehicle #20 known as squad 14. Ray Mandel (Thomas Jane) is a seasoned officer. His partner is Nick Holland (Luke Kleintank) a rookie with a family legacy. Ray is on the rough side and has a "philosophy for everything." Both have personal issues as they spend time separate talking on their phones.
It was a wild first night, something Ray takes in stride. The worst scene was the long conversation they had with Jack VanZandt (Josh Hopkins). It grew boring. It only took me a few seconds to hate him, they didn't need to drag it out.
