I dont think it warrants a need for spoiler warning since this episode is decades old and its practically safe to assume that everyone whos got a television or a computer had watched this at least a hundred times.
So, it starts with Tom being briefed about guarding the feast table with his life and must he fails, he is to subject to the guillotine. Now Jerry, together with his sidekick, Nibbles are on their way to screw that up.. So like all other Tom and Jerry episodes, Tom suffers from falling short of plot armor and cartoon logic does him in that he would always be vulnerable to whatever that Jerry throws at him..
So in the end.. Tom dies by the blade and the duo strut away victorious ending the episode with Nibbles commenting "Cest la vie"...
-I was only 6 years old when I first saw this and for some reason, I was the only one who finds it disturbing...
