Trash Film

I begin by stating here that I am absolutely Pro-Palestine and recognize the Palestinian people as the true victims in the seemingly never ending struggle throughout the Middle East. I am also well aware of the media lies that promote Israel as "the good guys," as that is a joke. I'm rating this film strictly on it's quality as a movie, and it is severely lacking. It has the feel of American B movies from the 80's, and it looks cheaper than lower level Hollywood actioners like "Red Scorpion," which is actually a good looking film. The creators of this installment went too far with demonizing the enemy, to the point where they look like bad guys from a cartoon. It's hard to believe that Israeli soldiers ran around gleefully murdering little kids while laughing. And it's ridiculous to portray the Israeli military as helpless, bumbling fools that can rain down a shower of machine gun fire without hitting one person, while one Palestinian sharp shooter can take down thousands of guys with one small hand gun. Israel's military is considered one of the strongest and most well trained in the world. I absolutely understand patriotism and pride in ones country, but this really insults the intelligence of it's audience. I searched for this because of how fantastic "Valley of the Wolves: Iraq" was; .a really fine film. This one had a different director and I'm guessing a different writer. That makes a big difference apparently. Those interested in this series should check that one out and forget the rest.
