Looking back at this shamelessly melodramatic tale, it's interesting to see how far Korean Drama is come since 2000. There is a lot here - a switched at birth thing, a double love triangle, then a tragic death or two.
The faults are glaring. Too much crying and too much calling their names. The soundtrack songs are repeated too many times each episode. A few hours could have been cut. Sometimes want to scream at the protagonists spit it out or hurry up. One good thing is seeing the three main stars in their early breakout roles. It's easy to see they have charisma that made them household names throughout Asia till today.
Still if you are in the mood for some overwrought melodrama this one is a classic.
