Okay this show has kinda officially jumped the shark at this point. It's just cliché after cliché after cliché with badly choreographed action scenes. Even the themes are getting tiresome because they're not really developing them beyond "am I real, do I really have free will" etc etc. Are these really the same people that wrote Ford and the Man in Black? It's got to the point where even the exceptional direction and visuals and acting and music just aren't enough anymore. There is so much fan service (Maeve) and so many action scenes which I'm just not a fan of. William's story, while quite interesting, doesn't really seem to be serving much to the story as of yet. Charlotte's story was getting quite repetitive and boring until those devastating final few moments, but even they weren't enough to make me care all that much. Honestly, the show seems to be going in the wrong direction and I'm not exactly hopeful for the last couple of episodes. I'll gladly be proven wrong. Overall, this was just meh
