Not bad but could have been better

Recently watched a youtube video which listed this movie in must-watch bollywood movies. I didn't know that this movie is an adaptation of Charles Dickens novel 'Great Expectations'. First half of the movie stole my heart. No doubt in that. Young Noor and Firdaus acted so well. They even looked a bit like Aditya and Katrina. So them portraying Adi and Kat was pretty convincing,.. good work on casting. I've no words to explain the beauty of Kashmir. Each frame was an artwork. Loved the background scores. In my opinion Fitoor has one of the best playlist. Second half of the movie was a bit fast paced. Everything was happening so quickly that it felt unrealistic. They could have focused on the flashback storyline a little. Also, there were a number of plotholes and unwanted instances which has nothing to do with the actual plot. For example, the scene where the sister dies in the bomb blast. It had zero relevance to the plot. The ending also made me a bit confused. Several questions like what will Noor do for living? What about his passion? Why Noor wasn't questioned by the police for Begum's death as he is the one visits her room the night before her death? Overall it is a good movie with less cringeworthy moments and dialogues. Actors did a good job portraying the roles especially Tabu and Aditya.
