The trailer had something. Some darkness, weird things going on at night. People freak out, some with aggression and a shotgun.
We rented it.
After 40 minutes nothing has happened. It was a retreat, where people talked about them self, did some mantras, tarot cards. Bathing in the small creek, that looked like a tropical ocean from the underwater shots.The retreat leader just seem to be a little inappropriate.
The film was supposed to be a thriller. But the only thing that happened was when the leader gave them some kind of drug, and they got some hallucinations and acted strange. In the end the old man had enough of the leader and killed him with a rock. Then all went home.
Some stuff happened in the epilogue but nothing to mention.
How did this thing passed the editing board? Should have been cancelled before it was recorded. A movie that had really nothing in the story, nothing interesting, no twist. Just some intrigues and a bad ending is not possible for anyone to appreciate.
