Warning: Spoilers
As someone else mentioned it's a loose adaptation of the classic "The Monkey's Paw". I watched it, in its entirety because I have a weird attraction to Stephen Lang...lame I know. He's a great actor and I liked his character. But as someone pointed out the casting was all wrong. The actress that played Abby was way too young or appeared to be too young. It didn't make a lot of sense. Tony seemed like a deadbeat, but they never explained why a "restraining order" then when tony gets violent she exclaims, "Tony thus isn't you." Then why the restraining order? The ex girlfriend married to the boss was a terrible actress. She looked and sounded like a mess. I'm glad the brother was killed off, he sucked as an actor and the character was a jerk. Both the brother and his wife, were comically awkward. They moved weirdly, spoke in an odd fashion. I didn't mind them disappearing. CJ Thomason, the main guy was terrible. He literally looked like he had no idea, what was going on. Like he had, a head injury, he had blank eyes the entire time. He made it almost unwatchable, awful. I liked the actor that played Catfish, he actually sounded like he was from New Orleans, being from Texas though, we can decipher, what they are saying. The monkey paw painted on the wall, looked like poo. I know, it was meant to look menacing, but I couldn't stop laughing. It's watchable, it's a lower budget movie, but when you have exhausted your quarantine cinema, it's slim pickings.
