Deep in the Woods left a Deep Impact on my soul

I am trying to understand the girl...she was attracted by the most ugliest and filthiest man and couldn't get rid of his influence. She enjoyed being with him, she loved and feared him. They needed each other. Seems that she thought that this repulsive man was the only man she could be get in life, that she deserved him. This movie shows a really troubled mind of both characters, that somehow, filled each other. Excellent movie.
