This is a silly film and it knows it. Yet it captures the comedic, gothic spirit of The Addams Family well.

The Addams Family film feels more like an extended episode rather than its own movie. Each character has their iconic personalities and set design is loyal to its inspiration.
The jokes aren't too subtle but they're still funny. Plot isn't too deep and somewhat cliche. Don't expect too much from this film. Predictable.
