Too dark, depressing, heavy handed with its themes for my taste and pretty boring.

I made through episode 4, but that's about all the viewing I can muster for this show. There are elements of the show that are redeemable and unique (i.e., monsters as manifestations of trauma, etc.); however, every episode I watched just felt bleak and depressing to the point where it made me feel uneasy...can't imagine how someone going through a similar scenario would feel. I get the Twilight Zone/Black Mirror direction here, but although some of those episodes were also depressing, nearly everyone of them were at least thought-provoking and/or had a message to be learned with more subtly at time and positive episodes to mix it up.
