As someone whose read the book multiple times and seen the original tv series a few times as well I don't understand the hate this show is getting... Yeah I don't agree completely with the non linear story telling change and it might be a little confusing for someone being introduced to the story for the first time but I think it's really not as bad as people are claiming.
The acting in the first two episodes is great and the casting is super good. Despite the way the story is told it seems to be pretty true to the books in terms of the overall plot.
I'm just happy we got another adaption of this amazing story by the King and that they're trying to at least stay true to the wonderful original storyline.
People just like to complain! Give the series a try 🙂
