In this episode the Gil Favor trail herd picks up a stranded peddler of the Jewish
faith played by Nehemiah Persoff. The drovers welcome him at first, but then a whole lot of
inexplicable accidents including one to Paul Brinegar leaving him unable to cook.
Gregory Walcott leads the men in wanting Persoff off the drive. The men start believing.
Although Persoff is plainly Jewish his faith is never mentioned as part of the animus. Which leaves a big hole in the story.
