An above average Tora-san movie. I'm really enjoying the escalating slapstick in each film's opening credits, and the cold-open was bizarre but fun too.
I also liked Tora having a direct romantic rival this time around, and even more so, he's not entirely charismatic or cool, like you'd expect him to be with a premise like this.
The ending was a little different too, so I liked these small but notable tweaks to the reliable Tora-san formula.
