A whistleblower is fired and tries to fight her way back, but she runs into serious problems. The lawyer she chooses, her brother in law is a drunk. Her husband is as supportive as a thorn in one's shoe. A step son has the ability to dig up dirt but the script skips by it, and a government official regularly breaks so many ethics that he's a major hurdle. Did I mention the Nancy Drew reporter (of color) who is as aggressive as a kicked hive of bees.
