Not a great early John Wayne version. The hero plays a singing cowboy which sounds like something off the radio so seeing him tangling with the bad guys is quite amusing. Of course Wayne wasn't known for his singing voice so he's badly dubbed in these scenes which adds to the unintentional amusement. The rest is made up of theatrics and insipid romance.
