Nick & Nicky is a fun, old school murder mystery film that is a triumphant and full of wit and charm. Shot mostly in New York City, the film catches the glamorous old day nuances of the world's most famous City - murder, nightlife, cocktails, smokey piano bars and even a good ole' smoking jacket. "Nick" played by actor, Patrick Askin, is that guy you've met many times late at night at THAT bar. Full of "joie de vivre," the lover of a cold and strong Cosmopolitan cocktail, curious but always observing, a man full of barroom tales and a personality that gushes great stories of living in New York while commanding everyone's attention sitting at the local piano bar. Nick is also in love with his lover, "Nicky." "Nicky," performed by actor, Ian Whitt, who's boyish charm compliments Nick's flamboyant personality is a scene grabber and his admiration of Nick is envious. Although Nicky is the younger love, he sweetly keeps an eye on Nick, at times being the voice of reason in a murder mystery that unfolds. Nick and Nicky become embroiled in a murder mystery while planning their wedding - all at the same time. So New York! Their love is apparent even throughout their investigation of murder, mystery and intrigue.
