LOW-BUDGET (YUGO) BIO-PIC...EXCELLENT LEAD PERFORMANCE...INTRIGUING & FACTUAL
11 August 2021
Warm Telling of the AC-DC Wars with All the Key Players on hand.

Tesla, Edison, Morgan, and Westinghouse and the Science, Politics, Financing, and Personalities of the Inventors and Investors that Brought forth the 20th Century.

Both the Good and the Bad.

Tesla's Well Known Anti-Social, Germ-Obsessed, Philanthropic, and Visionary Genius is Covered Fairly.

There are Plenty of Picturesque and Observant Visuals.

Peter Bozovic Gives an Uncanny Performance as Nikola Tesla, Not Only Looking Like the Great Discoverer but His Mannerisms and Ethereal Mind is Evident.

Orson Wells and Strother Martin as Morgan and Westinghouse Add some Presence and Gravitas.

The Dubbing is Awful and Distracting and some of the Editing and Flashbacks to Tesla's Childhood are Awkward.

But Overall those Flaws can be Overlooked because of the Film's Obvious Attractions.

Made 40 Years Ago, the Movie has been a Cult Film Languishing in Obscurity Ever Since. Hard to Find and Even Harder to Find Good Prints.

Sadly that's Still the Situation. But there are Watchable Versions Available.

The Movie Stands the Test of Time and is as Good but Not Better than the 2 Recent Films, "The Current Wars" (2017) and "Tesla" (2020),
