Season 5, Episode 10

This is how you close a series...

While "Money Heist" has its ups and downs, the last part of volume 5 simply confirms that the show finishes at its peak of quality... the final twists aren't just superficial, but are deeply rooted on spanish tradition and has an unexpectedly strong satyrical target. Let's not forget that the series started during Rajoy's government (conservative) and the increased sense of Spain becoming a police state, and with the promise of a huge part of the country, reacting to that, so this band of thieves instantly parallels with the "indignados" movement, and became iconic right away, thanks to the costumes and the masks and the clever use of cities as nicknames. The show many twist and turns finally pay off to complete satisfaction in the last episodes and specially in the last one, when you realize the fate of so many characters that - some more, some less - have grown on you for so many hours of television. Overall, this last episode confirms this show as a landmark on television, that probably will influence so many shows to come, worldwide.
